Curving shapes with twirling and rolling ways

Using balls of all different sizes, hula hoops for pathways, and craft paper projects we started talking about curving shapes. Curving shapes shifted and grew in to high and low turning ways. Combinations with rolls; front, back, sideways, changing level rolls and many new inventive rolls became movement connections between curving shapes. We have some highly imaginative children with beautiful, individual movement vocabularies. I can't wait to see where we go this semester!
